ITS That Time of Year Again
The 2010 Spring Open Cup is nipping at the heels again and hopefully it'll be more succesfull for team rage quit this season. Last year i was playing for team iTouch, Tek was playing for #dis8. But last season autumn cup was a complete disaster for rQ' because of activity issues.. We played none of the games as never had 5 on for match night.. We were in the very early days of the team and have grown and also shrunk to elimate non actives from the team.. This time im gonna recruit a couple of active players to make sure we definatley have enough for cup matches..

The 24 hour cod4 session was kinda insane, myself, bludd, and tek did the entire 24 ours and we were joined occasionally by other teammates for some games.. We went through a stage where we hardly spoke and then with about 6 hours left to go i started feeling physicaly sick, but we carried on and made it to the end.. I immeadiatley switched off and got straight into me pit, and slept untill tea time, got up and watched tv, was sick of playign games.. Its fair to say that we've killed cod4 to death and its kinda lost its " come n play again appeal" but i still like to get on sometimes and this week i discoverd the starwars mod..

If ya set ya cod4 filters to " MODS on" and search, you'll come across some star wars mod servers ... the mods called smw_04b or somehting similar.. Its a right pisser, you get to see the laser pew pewsad its not a ad.. the good thign is stormtroopers stand out like bulldogs balls so make for easy targets.... I defo recoomend it if ya bored of promod or normal gamemodes..
Sorry mw2 fans but even tho rob bowling twitterd that " 2 of his favourite thigns came together here, starwars and cod" he fucked it for himself and you when they withdrew codmw2 modding tools.. soz guys

This last week or so, i've been quite a busy boy with other thigns and so havnt been nailing CoD as much as i usually do.. Also i've been playing single player on Arma2 doing some missions etc.. As the launch of codmw2 is launched in a few days, i needed a replacement to take my mind of how im not buying it, and arma2 was the way forward.. Its not a straight forward fps and if your a thick twat who cant remember more than wasd and left/right click it may not be for you.. im not reviewing it this time, its just too big.. i will one day tho, for now ill sum it up buy saying " HUGE 1st & 3rd tactical shooter strategy " So i'll be playing this quite a bit..
tek pointed out a multiplayer bfbc2 vid today, fuckign hell it loooks mint, cant w8, and its got dedis ( oh well nvm IW, im sure EA/Dice wont mind having my money)
Also i been playing with linux ubuntu 9.10 on 1 of my other pcs, its bascially so my lads can go on flash games etc, but im finding it v intresting just installing and using software. My only main problem is that the only spare gfx card i have that works is a crap none 3d ati card, so i cant use alot of effects and run some games... Apart from that im well impressed with it.. If i wasnt a gamer id bin windows and use linux, its user friendly if u want to use pc for basic things like browsing and editing etc.. unfortunaltey,, if your into playing late release games its a pain in the arse.. But seeing as its free, and almost all the software is im fking amazed, the devs who spend their time doing this for free so other people can enjoy low $£ computing are the bee's knees..........

This week in team rage Quit, tek and nyyb played 2v2 ladder and won against Rp giving us +31 points 
setting us at Rank: 929 (1,024 points).. n1 lads
Also i left my primary team -PiMp' due to inactivity 
, had some good laughs with them and wish them all the best.. A cpl are in rQ so thats cool.. So now my primary team is rQ' and it'd be cool if we get some more cb games on the go......

set the server to promod pub mode this week but wasnt showing in master server list, i switched it off for an hour or so the it finally showed up but untill like almost 10000 had refreshed before it ( way too long), wondering if a port change might work?? ( but thats somethign i'll decide on later) cbfa to admin a pub server so im not entirley worried.. ill prob end up leaving it match only anyway..

had a quick revamp on vent in the channel comments, took out the " / " on the connect info so that its more friendly when srch IRC for match.. Added some othe links in other channels..

Hi all have a fun weekend this halloween, im off out doing shit so wwont be around for games etc for a bit, oh looks like im going to be doing some reviews on a cpl of games soon. i been playing alot of arma2 ( it fucking rocks!! srsly, gfx are mint and maps are huge etc)
Well as we hit week 4 of the fall OC cup, team rQ have been striked out of the group stages by too many no shows.. Hopefully we will still be eligible to play in spring OC 2010 and get a active team ready for nextb year.. Until then loads of praccy time

Well Clanbase have made the promodlive204_eu mod the official mod to play the OC fall cup with, so after installing the mod to comply with OC server settingsit seemed my GV streaming had gone down? I joined Game-Violations irc support channel and they explained that the new config is being worked on right now and will be available @ the end of the day, and i must go back tomorrow..
I wonder how many teams wont update their server as it was announced quite late and how many of these servers will actually be streaming to GV????? might be a few conflict wins here lol.. whineing or way to the playoffs maybe??

crappy fragvid
Well after watching countless fragmovies i thought id have a quick bash at it whilst im bored. I made a cpl of test vids, one of which ive just deleted from here, to get an understanding of the bitrates n filesizes etc..
My original movie was over 15 mins long and in dvd format and looks the bollocks when watched on my big telly. What i didnt take into account was that for a 15 min long frag vid was like 3+ hours of buggering around with demos and software.. So i decided to do most effects with the demo player as i frapsed them. eg. 3rd person view and removing the hud on some scenes.. I s'pose i cudve gone into public server for my footage and got some better looking linked kills, but i think the promod playing against med/med+ teams is more my cuppa, as im not tryign to show off im just making a vid to keep me busy,,
The youtube edit is under 10mins and most footage was cut from strike and crash to get the legnth suitable.. quality wise maybe i shudve done tthe youube vid in 3mbs rather than 512kbps.

24/7 SD HC server
Well to start with im letting the 24/7 SD HC server go, theres articles on this site explaining my decision but there is a new owner for it. On the 8th August, A dude named RiZla will take it over from me and he will pay for it and run it. It will be completley out of my control, i wont have any access to it whatsoever including not having the rcon password. Please dont message me about the server after the 8th (sat) as i cant do anything about it anymore.

Our new team rQ will be using the vent a bit more as we setup and will use the rQ channels in vent. The other guys who use it please use the CoD channels and leave lobby clear. Thanks. Also the match server is for rQ' and -Pimp' members so please dont use it without asking. thanks lads.

In the Third Leagueof the Clanbase spring 09 opencup WOB cried n wined there way on rule technicalitys (fuckin gheeyyyy boiiiisssss) and have managed to get to the semi finals in the HC 3rd League. hehehe heres the good bit..
